No one can deny the fact that/ It is undoubted that the developments (advancement) of technology in/ over the past years made our life much more comfortable and people own more things to satisfy their needs (introduce topic). However, many people today have the tendency of purchasing new things rather than fixing the broken things (topic =problem). This essay will examine the causes as well as the problems related to this tendency/ practice (thesis statement).

There are a number of reasons for this trend. To begin with, the living standard is much higher than the past. Therefore, people have more money to afford more new things in order to keep up with the new trend or simply to show off. Another contributing factor to mention is that all companies these days frequently have marketing strategies to boost/ increase the sale and attract the customers. For instance, in special occasions like Christmas, customers can get a discount or a voucher to buy new things.

There are a number of reasons that cause students’ stresses life these days. To begin with, securing a good job nowadays is extremely hard and competitive due to the high expectancy from employers. Hence, students are requires to attain a much wider range of knowledge in order to support for their future career. This is the reason why students have to learn harder, which results in frequently stress of over-study.

Another contributing factor to mention is that the living standard in many big cities is significantly high. Therefore, to those students who have poor financial support, it is really tough and headache for them to sustain comfortably without having part time jobs. Consequently, they have very little time for recreation or relaxation and obviously lead to stress.

Degradation of environment ( rise in the amount of C02 emissions leads to global warming, melting of polar ice caps, changing climate patterns, rise in sea level)

Solutions to overpopulation

Better education, making people aware of family planning ( as the population is growing at a rapid pace, raising awareness among people regarding family planning and letting them know about serious effects can help curb (kìm nén, hạn chế) population growth. One of the best way is to let them know about various safe sex techniques and contraceptives (phương pháp ngừa thai) methods available to avoid any unwanted pregnancy)

Knowledge of sex education: imparting (phổ biến) sex education to young kids at elementary level should be must. Most parents feel shy in discussing such things...lead to unaware of contraceptives.
