Describe
Table
Body paragraph 1:
General
statement: One significant trend is the high percentage of
Internet users in the most economically developed regions of the world.
Supporting
ideas: Specifically, 78 percent of the populations of
North America are online. Approximately two-thirds of Australians and Europeans
are also using Internet.
Body paragraph 2:
General statement: As
can be seen from the table, most developed regions of the world experienced the
smallest growth in the percentage of Internet users....
Supporting ideas: For
instance, North America, which had the highest percentage of Internet users,
only grew 181 percent. This was also similar for Australia and Europe, which had
relatively low percentage increases in Internet users at 181 percent and 353
percent respectively.
Body paragraph 3:
General
statement: Another noticeable feature of the information in
the table is the relatively low percentage of Internet users in the developing
regions.
Supporting
ideas: Roughly one third of the populations of Africa,
Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America use the Internet. Among those regions
listed, the country that had the smallest percentage of Internet users was
Africa (only 10%).
Body paragraph 4:
General
statement: On contrary, the biggest growth in the
number of Internet users happened in developing countries.
Supporting
ideas: Take Africa as an example, the proportion of the
population using Internet increased almost twenty-five fold. The Middle East
and Latin America also experienced more than tenfold growth in the percentage
of Internet users
