X diseases in Someland during 1960-1995

Introduction:

The line graph shows the number of cases of X diseases in Someland between 1960 and 1995/ from 1906 to 1995/ in the period of 35 years since 1960.

Body:

·         General: In general, it is evident/ clear that there were remarkable changes in the amount of X disease cases during that time.

·         Detail: In details/ Specifically, the number of cases started/ stood at about/around/ approximately 100 cases in 1960. After that/ in the next 10 years/ 10 years later, this number increased double/ twofold(s) before reaching a peak of 500 cases in 1980.  In the next 5 years, there was a stability at this point. Suddenly, the number of cases fell dramatically to zero in 1990.  Luckily/ Surprisingly, in the last 5 years, X disease totally disappeared/ was totally eliminated/ completely disappeared in Someland.

Introduction:

The line graph shows / illustrates / gives information about the income / revenue / turnover of 3 cafes in New Your over / during 9 months two years ago.

Body:

Ø General: In general / Generally, it is clear that these was different change in the income of these cafes at the same time = It is evident that the revenue of the Tea room was downward while the others’ that was upward / while that of the others was upward.

Ø Detail:

Ø In details, the Tea Room earned 160$ in January / The income of Tea Room stood at 160 in January. After that / thereafter, this number fell sharply to hit the lowest point at 130$ before recovering to reach the peak of about 170 in March. However, this recovery was short-lived / short term when it went down steadily for the last 6 months.

Ø On the other hand / Turning to the Internet cafe. After a drop from 100$ in January to 80 in February as the lowest point, there was a significant increase over the rest of period of time / the last 7 months to reach the highest point at around 170$ in September.

Ø Similarly, Wifi cafe’s income rose doubly / twofold to 100 in May before dropping back to 60 in the next month. Surprisingly/ Suddenly, this cafe experienced a threefold improvement to 180 in August before hitting a peak of 190 next month.
